Once again, 40 members, friends and guests gathered at the beautiful Barn Restaurant at Trelissick to celebrate the first Seder Night of Pesach. We were honoured to have as special guests Sir Edward Bolitho, the Lord Lieutenant of Cornwall and three members of the Devon and Cornwall Police who have been very supportive of the community. It was great to see new members and friends alongside those who have attended for a number of years and it was wonderful to have a number of young children attending. As the Seder is very focused on children and telling them the story of the Exodus from Egypt, Adam Feldman – who led the Seder with great skill and enthusiasm – made sure it they were engaged right through the evening even though, for some, it was way past their bedtime!
Our grateful thanks to all who were involved in organising it and, particularly, to those who provided the wonderful dishes for the festive meal.
No only ‘Next Year in Jerusalem’ but also ‘Next Year at Trelissick’!
